The first snowflakes of the season are falling Saturday afternoon in parts of the area. The chance for flurries, particularly areas farther north, continues through around 3 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.
Though temperatures are in the low-40s, winds of between 15-18 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph are making it feel like it's around 30 degrees.
The overnight low will drop to the upper-20s with calm winds and clearing skies.
A Freeze Warning is in effect from 1 a.m. to 9 a.m. Sunday for parts of the region.
A Freeze Warning means below freezing temperatures are imminent or highly likely. These conditions will kill crops and other sensitive vegetation.
Sunday will be sunny with a high in the low-40s, but winds of 10 mph with 20 mph gusts making it feel like it's in the upper-20s to low-30s.
